Mr. Cecil Bristol, age 66, of Nebo, N.C., died on Friday, November 22, 2002 at his residence.
Cecil was a native of McDowell County, born on May 25, 1936 to Craig Bristol Sr. and the late Thelma Messer Bristol.
He was retired from Marion Fabrics.
Mr. Bristol is survived by his wife, Mary Owens Bristol and six children; sons, Craig of Marion, Jeff, Richard and Daniel of Nebo; daughters, Laura B. Smith of Saltville, VA, and Lisa B. Patton, of Hickory. He is also survived by a brother, Bill Bristol, of Horseshoe, NC. and eleven grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. in Westmoreland Chapel with Rev. Toney McKinney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Burke County.
