A service to celebrate her life will be at 11:00 AM Saturday in the Hudson Chapel of Northside Baptist Church, with Reverends Barry Shearer and Glenn Stevenson officiating. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday at the church prior to the service.
Mrs. Claud was born March 18, 1932, was a member of Northside Baptist Church, Joy Sunday School Class, attended Harding High School and served 35 years of dedicated service at Northside Baptist Church as Director of Publications.
Surviving are her daughters, Patti Ford and husband, Tracy, and Donna Workman, all of Charlotte; grandchildren, T. J. Ford, Emily Ford, Alex Workman and Ashley Kirby; and great grandchildren, Preston and Savannah Lowder. Mrs. Claud was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis Scott Skidmore and Flora Ashley Skidmore; husband, Charlie Clarence Claud II.; son, Charlie Clarence (Butch) Claud III; and sister, Floogie Gibbs.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude for all the love and support of our mother, to the extended church family.
