Marcella Kane Plowman, 91, native of Aurora, passed away in Laughlin, Nevada on September 3, 2006. Marcella was born in Crystal Lake, Illinois on July 10, 1915 to John F. Kane and Elizabeth (Bess) Kane. They later moved to Aurora, where Marcella attended Holy Angels School. The family moved to Phoenix, Arizona when Marce was 19.
She is survived by her husband, Jess Plowman; her son by a previous marriage, Terry Morton (Nadine); sisters, Betty Giles and Lucile M. Kane; one brother, Jack Kane; many nieces and nephews and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; one son, Michael Morton; her sister, Lorraine Barnard.
There will be a private memorial service with the Rev. Charles di Kay of Trinity Episcopal Church at a future date.
