Actress. Born in Madrid, she began her acting career as a child in the play "El Refajo Amarillo" and became one of the leading ladies of Spanish Theatre in such hits as "Champán", "La Muralla", "Divinas Palabras", "Los Árboles Mueren de Pie", and "La Celestina". She was married to actor Salvador Soler Marí, and they created their own stage company. In 1934 Leal entered films with "Diez Días Millonaria". Her other credits include "El Clavo" (1944), "Don Quijote de La Mancha" (1947), "Ronda Española" (1951), "El Beso de Judas" (1954), "Un Día Perdido" (1954), "Los Ladrones Somos Gente Honrada" (1956), "La Casa de la Troya" (1959), "Vamos a Contar Mentiras" (1962), "El Mundo Sigue" (1963), "La Vil Seducción" (1968), "El Hombre que se Quiso Matar" (1970) and "Tormento" (1974), her last film. She was the mother of prestigious stage and screen actress Amparo Soler Leal.
