Robert James Aaron Jr., was a "Prince of a Man." He left this earth on November 14, 2005 to join his wife Rose Catherine. Bob was a good man who always tried to do what was right and lived to enjoy life. He was a member of the USA Air force and served during World War II. He was a manager of GNB in Leavenworth, Kansas for over 37 years. Bob was proud of his family. He was a caring father of four children, Rita Aholt of Lee's Summit, Robert Aaron Jr. of Tennessee, Katie Yoakam of Leavenworth, and Billie Wolfson of Overland Park. Bob enjoyed times spent with his 10 grandchildren, Regina Cooley, Katie Prideaux, James Aholt, Ashley Meyer, Robert Aaron III, Angela Aaron, Joshua Yoakam, Aaron Yoakam, Molly Wolfson and Joanna Wolfson, as well as his great-grandchildren, Zyza Cooley. Bob lived each day to the fullest. His stories and smiling eyes will be missed forever. May the road rise to meet you, may the wind always be at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face. Goodbye Dad, we love you.
A wake will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2005 from 6-8pm, with a rosary being said at 7pm, at Immaculate Conception in Leavenworth, Kansas. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, November 18, 2005 at Immaculate Conception in Leavenworth, KS at 10:30am. Burial will be immediately following at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the K9 Companions for Independence, Delaware, Ohio.
