Before you read the information below, stop for a moment and just look at that smile on Floradean's face. THAT smiling face was how wonderful and precious of a person she was and the life that she led for Jesus.

Daughter of Perry Everett Ferguson and Melissa "Liccy" Mae Brock Ferguson, Floradean Belle Ferguson was born on Oct 24 1924 in Granby Missouri; one of 14 children. Her siblings included: Lorene Amy Ferguson, Woodrow Buster Ferguson, Nancy Francis Ferguson, Stillborn Girl Ferguson, James Arthur Ferguson, Marvin Ferguson, Benjamin Franklin Ferguson, Katrina Irlene Ferguson, Archie Daniel Ferguson, Lora Lee Ferguson, Gerald Frances Ferguson, Gilbert Barton Ferguson and Wanda Sue Ferguson.

A story that she told me, Sarah Capps, was before she was married she was living in Diamond and her sister wanted her to go to a hootenanny with her. Floradean wasn't really too keen on going because she heard there would be a bunch of those Granby boys there and she just didn't like them. Floradean went with her sister and sure enough there were a bunch of Granby boys there, one of which turned out to be her future husband William Junior Capps. They were wed on March 13 1943 in of all places, Granby Missouri. They were the parents of two daughters: Donna Sue and Claudia Dean.

Floradean had a smile that could light up an entire room. She laughed a lot and lived her life for her Lord. She was very loving and precious and loved by all.
