Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Estelle Chaffin, age 82, of Bonham will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham, officiating will be Bro. Jack Wayne McCraw. Mrs. Chaffin passed away Sunday, September 10, 2006 at her son's residence.
She was born on August 11, 1924 in Telephone, the daughter of the late J.R. and Lillie Mae Kneggs McCraw. Mrs. Chaffin was married to Neal Wallace Chaffin on September 24, 1949 in Sherman, Texas, he preceded her in death on March 11, 2002. She was a retired Secretary/ Bookkeeper .
She is survived by her Sons - Jimmy Chaffin & wife Karen of Bonham and Bob Chaffin & wife Kae of Ivanhoe. 5-Grandchildren - Dale Chaffin & wife Ashleigh, Julie Cooper & husband Terence, Gerald Chaffin & wife Stefanie, Courtney Stephens & husband Shawn and Casey Clark. 7-Great Grandchildren. Brothers - J.R. McCraw, Jr & wife Doris of Allen and Ray McCraw & wife Bobbie of Richardson. Sisters - Linda Brown & husband Walter Don and Rita Mann & husband Cardell all of Honey Grove. She was preceded in death by Brother - Roy McCraw, Sisters - Joyce Barns and Billie McCraw.
Pallbearers will be Mayfield McCraw, Ronnie Fitzwater, Clint Brown, Randy Freeman, Randy Taylor and Jack Wayne McCraw.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 11, 2006 from 6:00-8:00pm at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham.
