Daughter of Bernice and Royal Carl Norris. She spent most of her school years in Big Horn, Wyoming. In 1952, Barbara married Phillip E. Moore, and two years later they left Big Horn for Lewiston, Idaho. From Lewiston, they relocated to Kennewick for several years before moving their family to Benton City. Once their five children (Cynthia, Ronald, Kathryn, Carla, Sylvia) were raised, Barbara and Phillip returned to Kennewick to reside. They are the proud grandparents of six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Barbara and Phillip celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary last November.
