GIRL KILLED IN CAR MISHAP ON UNDERWOOD ROAD

Pamela Magee, 16, White Salmon, was killed when she was thrown from a car as it flipped on the Underwood Heights Road in eastern Skamania County late Saturday afternoon.

The driver was John F Day, 19, Underwood, who was also thrown from the vehicle but escaped serious injury. The Sheriff's Department and State Patrol officers are cooperating in an investigation of the tragedy.

Funeral services for Pamels Jean Fields Magee will be held at Gardner's Chapel in White Salmon today, Friday, Dec 26 at 2 pm.

Pamela, 16, was a junior at Columbia High School, White Salmon. She is survived by her mother, Mrs Ruth Armstrong, stepfather Darrell Armstrong, a brother Randy Magee and a sister Kendell Magee, all of White Salmon.

Also a sister Tammy Blythe of Visalia, California; grandfather Elmer Thompson of Bingen and grandmother Mrs Ardean Patterson of Porterville, Calif.

Mr Melvin Howard will officiate at the services. Interment will follow at the White Salmon Cemetery.
