The deceased was one of the early pioneers of Jackson county. Was married to Victoria Loughmiller in 1861 who was called home in 1870. He leaves three children, H. E. Brownlee, Topeka; Jessie M. Quinton, Oskaloosa, Kansas and Anna M. Hallock, Chandler, Okla. .... The Holton Signal, February 14, 1918.
