Sweetwater - Mrs. Pearl Alderman, 76, died Friday at 3:05 p.m. at Big Spring.
Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Church of Christ of Maryneal. Officiating will be Tommy Bonner, Sweetwater Church of Christ layman and the Rev. Gerald Sharpe, pastor of the Blackwell First Methodist Church. Burial will be at the Maryneal Cemetery under the direction of Cate-Spencer Funeral Home here.
Mrs. Alderman was born March 16, 1883 in Arkansas. She moved to Nolan County in 1912. She had lived in the Maryneal and Blackwell communities since that time.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are five sons, R. L. of Blackwell, H. J. of Durango, Colo., Ed of San Angelo, J. F. of Gorman and M. F. of Maryneal; four daughters, Mrs. Vallie Gore of Durango, Colo., Mrs. Coke Chapman of Faith, S.D., Mrs. M. K. Hayherst of Belen, N.M., and Mrs. B. L. Pruitt of Saragosa; one brother, Charlie Christopher of Stanton; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Wilson of Odessa, Mrs. May Goodwin of New York, Tex., and Mrs. Burl Milton of Houston; 25 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
