Leuna Rogers Adams, 77, of Marble died Tuesday (December 13, 2005) in an Asheville, Nc hospital. She was a native and lifetime resident of Cherokee County. She retired in November of 1990 after 23 years of employment with American Thread. Leuna was a member of the Vengence Creek Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late Homer A. Rogers and the wife of the late Jack Adams, who died July 1, 1998. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Margie Creason and two brothers, Homer A. Rogers Jr. and Kyle Rogers.

Surviving are her mother, Lucy Queen Rogers of Marble; two sisters, Joyce McCuley and Doris Adams both of Marble; three brothers, Rev. Glenn Rogers and Kenneth Rogers both of Marble, and Jimmy Rogers of Andrews; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
