Allen Decker
Services for Mr. Allen "Pop" Decker, 92, of 3346 W. Kiowa, who died Sunday at home, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Blunt Mortuary, the Rev. Siguard E. Burch Jr. of Trinity methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Bron in Lake Charles, La., on Feb. 1, 1876, Mr. Decker had been a resident here since 1910. He and Mrs. Decker, married in Astor, Kan., had been married for 67 years. After retiring as a car inspector for the Midland Terminal railroad, Mr. Decker worked for the Exchange National Bank. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Mr. Decker is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bertha Decker, of Colorado Springs; two daughters, Miss Florence M. Decker, and Mrs. Clariss Brown, both of Colorado Springs; his son, Everett, Also of Colorado Springs, and two grandsons, Ronald, with the U.S. Army in Vietnam, and Gerald, of Colorado Springs.
