Funeral services were held Friday at the Trenton Baptist Church for Mrs. Amy Alice Dodson, 60, a resident of Trenton and the Leonard area who died Wednesday night in a Bonham hospital. Burial was in Burns cemetery, Trenton. Mrs. Dodson, a daughter of Emmett and Mattie Isaac, was born April 23, 1891, near Leonard. She was married July ...., 1909, at Trenton to U. S. Dodson, Sr. She was a member of the Blanton Chapel Methodist Church. Mrs. Dodson is survived by her husband and her mother Mrs. Mattie Tilger of Trenton, four sons, Odell Dodson of Compton, California, Herbert Dodson of Houston, John Dodson of Trenton and U. S. Dodson, Jr., of Fort Worth; a daughter, Mrs. Woodrow Spangler of Sherman; two brothers, Lee Isaac and A. Isaac of Los Angeles, California, two sisters, Mrs. J. T. Hamilton of Idaho and Mrs. Roscoe Moats of Leonard; three half brothers, Beason Tilger and Ralph Tilger of Trenton and Hubert Tilger of Denton, and 10 grandchildren.
