Richard died while living at the Illinois Soldiers and Sailors Orphan Home in Normal Illinois and is buried in their plot. His cause of death is listed as "Measles." He is burins the same day as two other children from the home and two days before another two burials. I am not sure if all the deaths were due to Measles.
