Violet "Vi" Anderson

Violet Anderson, 77, of Flasher, N.D., died Saturday at her home.
Violet Tilley was born at High Prairie, Alberta, Canada, the daughter of Jim and Eva (Ronquist) Tilley.
She married Wesley Anderson on July 17, 1963. They made their home in Canada and the United States, living in International Falls (state) and Albany, before moving to Flasher in September 2005.
Vi loved the outdoors, fishing and just being near water. She was also very creative with crafts and embroidery. She often wrote poetry, made up stories and sang songs that her children will always remember.
Vi is survived by husband Wes of Flasher; daughters and sons-in-law [private]; sons and daughters-in-law [private]; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law [private]; and brothers and sisters-in-law [private]. Her parents and her brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Kathy Tilley, preceded her in death.
At Violet's request, her body is being donated to the University of North Dakota School of Medicine. There will be no services.
Buehler-Larson Funeral Home in Mandan, N.D., is handling arrangements.
