She was a daughter of the late Walter and Jennie McSherry Hoffman.
Mrs. Baker was a 1939 graduate of Gettysburg High School. She, along with her husband, owned and operated Ned's Tavern in Gettysburg for 38 years. She was a lifelong devout member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Gettysburg.
She was the husband of Donald F. Baker, Sr., who departed this life in 1993, and is survived by three children, Nancy L. Guzman of Ellicott City, MD, Donald F. Baker, Jr., of Hanover, and Kathy A. Shreve of Gettysburg; ten grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael J. Baker.
