Obituary from the Grand Rapids Press, Michigan

Louise Ward Belbot, aged 78, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2002.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Wanda Davis, and her son Billy Burris.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; 11 children; two stepchildren; 32 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; three sisters and her brother.

A graveside service will be held at Rosedale Memorial Gardens on Friday, September 13, at 10 a.m. Arrangements by: ????? (couldn't read it).

Louise is my Aunt on my mother's side. I don't remember much about her as we rarely saw her. The main thing I remember is she had a lot of kids. I couldn't tell you any of their names.

I'm thinking that she died of some sort of cancer (kidneys). When they found it, it was out of control and she went very quickly.

A special thank you to Jazzy for the headstone photo. This really means a lot to me. I don't know if I'll ever make it back to Grand Rapids to visit the grave. I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule to do this for me. Again, thank you!
