Ret. CPO ETC Thomas Lester Jackson, of Oglethorpe, GA., served aboard several different vessels including the USS Saratoga and served two tours in Vietnam. After retiring from the Navy, he served four years in the Merchant Marines and later retired as a lieutenant at the Macon State Prison in Montezuma, GA.
