" SS Rosalie, built by ...... was a British steamer of 4237 tons.
On February 20th, 1917, Rosalie, on a voyage from New York to Salonica with a cargo of munitions and oats, was sunk by the German submarine U-39 (Walter Forstmann), 8 miles east of Djidjelli, Algeria. 21 persons were lost."
