" ROSEWOOD MV was a British motor tanker of 5,989 tons built in 1931.
On the 9th March 1943 when on route from New York for the Clyde in convoy SC-121, carrying a cargo of fuel oil she was torpedoed by German submarine U-409 and sunk.
Crew of 42 all lost."
