He was a retired employee with the Reliance Universal Concrete Company in Louisville, a native of Henry Co. & a member of the Newcastle Methodist Church. Survived by wife, Mrs. Genevieve DeVore Berry of Louisville; 3 sisters, Mrs. Nellie Tower of Turner Station, KY, Mrs. Newt (Goldie) McClellan of Turner Station, KY, Mrs. Leroy (Sarah) V. Sanders of Elmwood, IL; 1 brother, Earl Berry of Turner Station. Funeral services, 2 p.m. Tues. at the Prewitt Funeral Home, Newcastle. Interment will be in the Port Royal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Mon.

Estell Berry, 69 of Louisville, died Sunday, October 19th at the Suburban Hospital, Louisville after an illness. He was a retired employee with the Reliance Universal Concrete Company in Louisville. He was a native of Henry County and a member of the New Castle Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Genevieve DeVore Berry, Louisville; three sisters, Mrs. Nell Power, Turners station, Mrs. Newt (Goldie) McClellan, Turners Station and Mrs. LeRoy (Sarah V.) Sanders, Elmwood, Illinois; one brother, Earl Berry, Turners Station.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 21 from Prewitt's, New Castle. Rev. Vernon Thwaites, pastor of the New Castle Methodist Church, officiated. Interment was in the Port Royal Cemetery.
