Mrs.
in the 63 year of hir age
[born about 1642, daughter of Thomas Hosmer, 1st wife of John Smith]
[CLEMENCE, 2nd known child of Thomas & Frances Hosmer, was born about 1642 ("Hosmer, Clements, she is 15 years old" 12 December 1657. She married (1) at Northampton 3 September 1662 Jonathan Hunt. She married (2) in 1694 or 1695 John Smith of Milford. Source: Anderson's Great Migration Begins]

[according to the Great Migration book by Robert Charles Anderson, Thomas Hosmer was apparently married three times. His first wife was Frances (maiden name unknown), mother of at least four children (Stephen, Clemence, Hannah, and Esther). His second wife was Frances (maiden name unknown), widow of Mr. Bushnell, and mother of Hannah Bushnell who married Stephen Hosmer. His third/last wife was Katherine (Fyler) Wilton.

As for Katherine, many people have her maiden name as Hoskins which is not correct. She is listed on the Mary & John 1630 passenger list (https://www.maryandjohn1630.com/passengerlist_a.html) with her possibly widowed mother, Ann Fyler, and brother Walter Fyler. John Hoskins the immigrant and his son Thomas Hoskins were also on the list. A month after arriving in Massachusetts, Ann and John married. In 1634, Katherine married David Wilton. He died prior to 1679. Katherine then married Thomas Hosmer.
