" SS Westergate, built by ...... was a British steamer of 1760 tons.
On April 21st, 1918, Westergate, on a voyage from Hartlepool to Carthagena,
was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine UB-80 (Max Viebeg),
22 miles E1/2S Start Point. 24 persons were lost."
