" The Turret Hull steamship ARGYLL was torpedoed and sunk by German submarine U-84 when 110 miles W. of Bishop Rock on April 13th, 1917.
Twentytwo men were killed. The captain was among the survivors.
The ship was on route from Port Kelah for Middlesbrough with a cargo of iron ore."
