First wife of General Juan Domingo Perón. They met in 1925 and got married on January 5, 1929. A teacher, Aurelia (nicknamed "Potota") was a very sensible and smart woman who draw and painted, read English and very often translated military English textbooks for his husband. She died of uterine cancer, the same disease who claimed the life of Perón´s second wife, Maria Eva Duarte "Evita."
