Services for Mrs. Effie Jane Snavely, 91 of 1505 (1) Garfield, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the R.A. Fulton chapel.
Burial will be at the Topeka cemetery.
Born in Maddox, Canada,(2) Mrs. Snavely came to the United States when she was 5 years old, and had lived in the area for the past 28 years. She was a member of the London Heights Baptist church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Pansy Patton, of the home, Mrs. Myrtle Crawford, Topeka, and Mrs, Jane Heldebrandt, (sic) Banning, Calif.; a son, James H. Snavely, Fullerton, Calif.; 17 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren. The body will lie in state at the funeral home from 5 p.m. tomorrow until the services.
