Sophia J. Fedoush 82, of Leechburg, died at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 23, 2002) in her daughter's home in Leechburg.

Born April 28, 1920 in New Kensington, she lived there for 77 years before moving to Leechburg five years ago.

Prior to retiring in 1980 she worked 39 years for PPG industries, Creighton, East Deer, as a line person, "sewing" antennas into automobile windshields.

Mrs. Fedoush was a member of Christ the King Parish, Leechburg; a former member of St. Mary of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church, and Christian Mothers of the church and the Catholic Daughters of America, all in New Kensington.

She enjoyed watching television, baking and spending time with her grandchildren and pets.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Pamela (Stephen A.) Pastiva of Leechburg with whom she lived; a brother, Edward Jedlowski of Cumberland, Md; and three sisters, Catherine Tadrzak of Taylor, Mich., Ann Sawicki of Steubenville, Ohio, and Elizabeth Faber of Florida.

Also surviving are three grandchildren, Peter, Nicholas, and Brian Pastiva of Leechburg; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Fedoush in 1992; her parents, Peter and Frances Mroczka Jedlowski; three brothers, John, Walter and Charles Jedlowski; and two sisters, Helen Rykaceski and Delores Jedlowski in infancy.

Friends were welcomed at CLAWSONS, Leechburg, Pa. Christian Funeral Mass was at Christ the King Parish, Leechburg. Burial in St Mary Catholic Cemetery, Lower Burrell.
