Mrs. Annie Bell Baber, 79, died at 1:30 a.m. today at her home, Afton, Route 1. She was born January 1, 1872, in Nelson county, a daughter of the late James W. and Elizabeth Catherine Farrar Baber.
She was the widow of U. G. Baber. She was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church.
Mrs. Baber is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ada Fox, and Mrs. S. C. Snell, both of Afton; two grandchildren, Charles Fox, Avon, and Miss Maxine Fox, Afton; one great-granddaughter, Caroline Dale Fox, Avon; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Bowman, Waynesboro, and Mrs. Lillie Baber, Afton.
Body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home until the hour of service, Saturday at 2 p.m., at the Hebron Baptist Church. Service will be conducted by the Rev. B. F. Robinson, with interment in the church cemetery.
