"The funeral of Will C. Floyd, 79, of Rt.1, Sumner, was announced for 3 p.m. Tuesday at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home, with interment in Little Vine Cemetery.
The Rev. J.L. Wideman of Sumner, and the Rev. James S. Riley of First Baptist Church here, had charge, pallbearers being Cecil Everett, Edwin Everett, Charles E. Ervin, Claud White, Doyle Wheeler, Ed Jack Basinger, Leonard Hewgley and Walter Martin.
Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Floyd, Will Floyd was born at Sumner, 9 Mar 1873. A retired farmer, he died early Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital here."
On the same stone with Icephenia Wheeler Floyd. They were married 26 Nov. 1893 in Lamar County, Texas.
