Margaret Campbell Brown, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, attended Lynchburg College and Smithdeal Massey Business College and worked for many years at the former First and Merchants Bank of Newport News. She was an active member of the Lydia Sunday School Class at North Riverside Baptist Church, the Woman's Club of Newport News, and Chi Alpha Sorority. She was survived by her stepdaughter and son-in-law, her three stepsons and daughters-in-law, three brothers and sisters-in-law, two sisters and brothers-in-law, three other sisters-in-law, and another brother-in-law and wife. She was also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, 10 nephews, nine nieces, and a great-niece.
She was preceded in death by her second husband, Gordon V. Brown Jr.; her first husband, William Martin; her son, Jimmy Martin; brothers, William Campbell, Richard Campbell, and Dr. James G.
