Kenneth Curtis Johnson, 36, of Shell Lake and formerly of Crandon died July 5 in Duluth from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident while on his way home from fireworks with his son Kurtis. Memorial services were held Monday morning at the Church of God in Crandon, with the Reverend Ed Leiskau officiating and interment at the Town of Argonne Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson was born Aug. 22, 1969 in Rhinelander to Kenneth and Susan (Kincaid) Johnson. He lived in the Crandon area most of his life and called it home. Mr. Johnson worked in the time-share sales business until moving to the Hayward-Spooner area in 1993 to buy timber with his father and brother as part of the logging industry. He had worked as a consultant and investor in land investment for the past 2 years. Mr. Johnson married Angela Marvin at Shell Lake on Sept. 14, 1995.

He is survived by his wife, Angela; tow sons, Kenneth and Kurtis, both at home; his father and stepmother, Kenneth and Evelyn Johnson of Earl; a brother, Taylor of Spring Brook; and his grandparents, Curtis and Deloris Kincaid and Nancy Johnson, all of Crandon.
