Mrs. J. Hamilton Died Last Night At Age of 85 Years
Mrs. Mary Hamilton, widow of the late James Hamilton, died at the home of her daughter , Mrs. Thomas Graham north of the city last midnight of general debility at the age of 85 years, two months, and two days. Mrs. Hamilton had been in poor health for several years but had been confined to her bed for only two weeks.
The deceased was born in Ayrshire Scotland and came to this country in 1862 with her late husband and located in St. Louis. They settled in this vicinity 51 years ago and the deceased had since resided here. Her husband was killed in a mine accident 44 years ago. She is survived by two sons and three daughters: James of Terre Haute, David of Blanchard, Mich., Mrs. Jennie Rouse, Indianapolis, Mrs. Isabelle Bauer and Mrs. Ellen Graham of this vicinity. She leaves a large circle of friends to mourn her death.
Funeral services will be announced tomorrow.

Brazil, Ind. Oct. 19—(Special)—Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Hamilton will be held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Graham, north of the city, at 2:00 o'clock Friday afternoon, the Rev. S.S. Aikman of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Stunkard cemetery.
