Jeremy was born in Marion to Dennis Gallaway and Trisha Farmer. He married Donna (Webb) Gallaway on June 11, 2003, she survives. He graduated from Tucker Career Center in 1993 and attended Crossroads Community Church. Jeremy was an avid Jeff Gordon and Colts fan and loved fishing.

Additional survivors include his mother and step father, Trisha and Frances VanCamp, Greentown; father and step mother, Dennis and Jann Gallaway, Marion; son Justin Scott Gallaway; daughters, Lori, Amanda, and Kaitlyn Gallaway and Trisha Ray; stepdaughters, Ashley and Sarah Webb; brothers, Randy VanCamp, Virginia Beach, Va.; Chad (Tammy) VanCamp, Groomsville; David Wyatt, Gas City; and Matt Wyatt, Marion; sisters, Tami (Dave) Schafer, Kokomo; Lori (Heath) Haalck, Greentown; and Michelle (Rob) McCarthy, Dacula, Ga.; maternal grandmother, Mary Rosalie Maddox, Marion; paternal grandparents, Paul and Mary Gallaway, Sweetser; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Benson Hall Farmer, and a niece, Megan Haalck.
