Cora Harrison lived her entire life in Hamilton County, Indiana. Upon the death of her husband, Cord, in 1918, she took over operations of the family drugstore, Harrison Drugs, located at 8th and Division streets in Noblesville, Indiana. She ran the drugstore until the late thirties. She had one son, Robert, was a devout Christian Scientist and was a generous person. The following is an excerpt from her obituary: "Mrs. Harrison had a large circle of acquaintances. She did a large amount of charity work among those in need about which no one knew except her intimate friends. The latter say some of her gifts were large and they were distributed among many persons. A close friend of Mrs. Harrison asked the Ledger to make this statement:

'She would never say anything about the charitable acts she performed but now I think she should be given credit for what she ahs done. She gave assistance to dozens in need and she was always delighted that she could help someone.'"

She married S Cord Harrison 3 Feb 1897 in Hamilton county, Indiana.
