Magick was a little kitten I got from someone I met while in school. I brought him home in the Summer. He was a really sweet cat who loved the dogs. Sadly, he got into the habit of being outside at all times. When we moved to our new home in July, 2005, he was nowhere to be found. Our landlord saw him and fed him, we left him food to give him.Turns out the guy fed him only when he felt like it and took the food we left behind for his own cats. We went back looking for Magick a few times. One day we finally caught him and brought him back to the new house. The cat hated it, would not eat. We even gave him canned food which he loved. We decided he must be sick because he was acting strangely and was very thin, he always had been but we were concerned. When we got to the veterinarian's, Magick who was in my arms jumped out and ran into the nearby woods. We never saw him again. We even looked if animal services had found him but to no avail. He did not have a collar on because he once was found hanging from our fence by the supposedly "safe" collar. When we lived in our old house, Magick would come and go, the neighbors knew him and we lived in a rural area so him not having a collar was not an issue. Now, I wish he had worn one that evening.This is a memorial to Magick's memory. A good cat, a cat who was very very friendly and who I believe thought was a dog since he was raised with them. We also had his sister Maya.
