ILLNESS FATAL TO WOMAN, 85
Rites Saturday For Mrs. Nora Murphy Lee
Mrs. Nora Murphy Lee, 85, Greensburg, died at 2:40 a. m. today at Stone's Nursing Home where she had been a resident since last August. She had been in failing health for the past two years.
A native of Rush County, she was born July 1, 1879, the daughter of Joshua and Pheobe Glenn Hankins. Most of her life was spent in the Andersonville community before she moved to this city several years ago.
She was a member of the E. U. B. Church at Andersonville.
She was first married to Omer Murphy who passed away in 1916. She later married to Frank Lee, who preceded her in death in 1951.
Survivors include: Four sons, Cecil Murphy and Melvin Murphy, both of Greensburg, Clyde Murphy, Lewistown, N. Y., and Wilbur Murphy, Milroy; four daughters, Mrs. Leonard Scott, Andersonville, Mrs. Robert Riley, Sr., Glenwood, Mrs. Bennie Hersley, Greensburg, and Mrs. Florence Virgin, Indianapolis; 26 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p. m. Saturday in the Moster and Sons Mortuary at Rushville. Burial will be in the Laurel Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary after 2 p. m. Friday.
