RITES HELD FOR
LUCY LEE, AGE 92

Final rites were held at Greensburg Thursday afternoon for Mrs. Lucy Lee, 92, former Rush County resident, who had 125 descendants.

She was born in Ohio County on April 3, 1861, daughter of Joshua and Pheobe Glenn Hankins. She had spent most of her life in Rush and Decatur counties. For the last three years she had resided with a daughter, Mrs. Gertie Morgan of Greensburg, at whose home she died Tuesday afternoon.

Her husband, Solon S. Lee, preceded her in death October 30, 1942.

Mrs. Lee was a member of the Raleigh Christian Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Jessie Icenogle of Rush County, Mrs. Gladys Barber of Decatur County and Mrs. Morgan; three sons, Wilbur Lee and Everett Lee of Rushville and Roy Lee of Rush County; three brothers, Gabe Hankins of Richland, Elijah Hankins of Indianapolis and John Hankins of Andersonville; two sisters, Mrs. Emory Scheibler of Milroy and Mrs. Nora Lee of Greensburg; 39 grandchildren, 77 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Her parents and four children preceded her in death: Maggie Lee, Nora Lee, Orville Lee and Mrs. Lillie Land.

Both funeral and burial were at Greensburg with the Rev. Earl Davis, pastor of the Plum Creek Christian Church, in charge.
