Funeral services for Theodore R. Snell, of Florien, who died suddenly, October 15, were held October 17, at 2 p.m., from the Oak Grove Church near Hornbeck. Interment was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, under the direction of the Hixson Funeral Home.

Besides his widow, Mrs. Edna Snell, the deceased is survived by, two daughters, Misses Marie and Virginia Snell; both of Florien, five sons, John; Wayne; Warren; Theodore and Lewis Snell, all of Florien. One brother I. E. Snell, Hornbeck, two sisters, Mrs. Crystal Ellis, Leesville and Mrs. Mina Walpold, Port Arthur.
