David Joseph Rachal, Sr.

Services for David Joseph Rachal, Sr., 54, were held Tuesday, April 25 in the chapel of the Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with the Rev. Ramie Rachal Jr. officiating. Burial followed in the Fern Park Cemetery.

Mr. Rachal died Sunday, April 23, 1995 at Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

A resident of Powhatan, Mr. Rachal was a night employee for the 7-11 Corporation in Bossier City. He was a Baptist.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Wanda Faye Rachal of Powhatan; one son, David Joseph Rachal Jr., of California; two daughters, Darlene Rachal of Shreveport and Cynthea Rachal; his mother, Mrs. Victoria Rachal of Monroe; two sisters Doris Dowdy and Teresa Bertrand, both of Monroe; one brother, Artice Rachal Jr. of Pascaghoula, Miss., and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Artie Dowdy, James Bass, Mark Bass, Charles Shelton, Charles Dowdy and Kenny Martin.
