Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Beer, 75, who died Tuesday at the Wilson Memorial home in Elk Rapids following a long illness, will be held today (Thursday) at the Dockery-Wilhelm chapel in Elk Rapids. The Rev. H.M. Markley, pastor of the Presbyterian church in Elk Rapids, will officiate and burial will be made in Maple Grove cemetery.
Margaret Morrison was born October 25, 1878, in Whitewater township, where she spent her early life. in 1900 she was united in marriage to Frank Beer of Elk Rapids and the couple resided there for some time before locating in Traverse City. in 1930 they returned to her childhood home on the Elk Lake road.
Mr. Beer preceded her in death in 1945.
Mrs. Beer is survived by a nephew, Robert Gay Morrison of Detroit and many friends.
