Edith Marie Andrews died June 25, 2006.

She was born in Baltimore, Md., to Atwood and Della Tate, the third of nine children.

She married David H. Andrews of Buffalo, N.Y., Feb. 22, 1946. She placed her trust in – and lived her life serving – Jesus Christ. Her commitment to the church, her knowledge of Scripture, and her faith set an example to her family and friends.

She lived a number of years in Loveland and Salida where she had many friends. During the last three years, she lived at the Ellen Kennedy Living Center in Dyersville, Iowa.

Survivors are her children, Nancy (Chris) Lange of Dubuque, Iowa; Carol (Jim) Mathews and Jonathan (Mary Ann) Andrews of Colorado; her grandchildren, Andy, Tate, Amy, Ben, Jesse, Levi, Hannah, Charity, Aaron and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Dave, Carly, Chandler, Bethany, Cody, Dominic, Noah, Daniel and Taylor; six sisters and brothers, Lois Jeeter, Donald Tate, Audrey Striegel, Creston Tate, Erma Parmentier and Atwood Tate, all of the Baltimore area.

Services will be held today, June 28, 2006, in the Marble Chapel at Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque, Iowa. Interment will be at 11 a.m. July 3, 2006, in Loveland Burial Park in Loveland.
