RAY BENITEZ, 40, died suddenly Thursday night (Nov. 20, 2003) at his residence In Pierce County.
He was a native of Mexico City, Mexico, but had lived in Blackshear since 1985. He was a longtime employee as a concrete finisher with Council Construction Company of Blackshear.
He is survived by many close friends, Wayne, Michelle, Marlee and Tyler Council; chad, Melissa, Dalton and Logan Robson, all of Blackshear, Robert Hoff, tom Grams, Jason Dixon, Kevin Stephens, and Matt Walsh, all of Blackshear.
A memorial service will be held this evening at 6 PM at the home of Wayne and Michelle Council, 6257 Bailey Road, Blackshear.There will be no public visitation.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
Smith Funeral Home of Blackshear is in charge of the arrangements.
