Son of William and Priscilla Sanday Hauxwell. He attended Oxford Schools. He married Carol Miller August 17, 1957 in Oxford. A conveyer attendant for Pontiac Motors, Mr. Hauxwell was a Korean War veteran having spent more than 6 years in the US Marine Corp. He was preceeded in death by a son Frederick. He is survived by his wife Carol, daughter Mrs. Deborah Emigh of Oxford; sons Michael and John both of Oxford; brothers Bud Hauxwell of Oxford and Francis Hauxwell of Attica; sisters June Heichel and Mrs. Allison Nicholson both of Oxford and Mrs. Dorothy Wheststone of Lapeer and six grandchildren.
