Services Are Sunday For Covert Resident
Covert, May 10--Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Mrs. Edith Calvin's funeral home here for Edmond Bostwick, 85, who died at 7 p.m. Thursday in a nursing home at Jackson, Mich., where he had been a patient for the past year.
Mr. Bostwick was born in Edensberg, Ohio, on Oct. 11, 1861. He came to Covert when 21 years of age and spent the rest of his life as a farmer in this vicinity. In 1889 he married Miss Blanche Frary. Mrs. Bostwick died on May 28, 1934.
Surviving Mr. Bostwick are two daughters, Mrs. Ida Kenney of south Haven, and Mrs. Imogene Burton of Grass Lake; one adopted son, Marvin Frary, a nephew of Mrs. Bostwick; eight grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. William Goltz will officiate at the funeral rites. Burial will be in the Covert cemetery.
