Funeral services for Victor J. Bonnette, 77, of Snyder were held
Saturday, July 5, at 10 a.m. at Montrose Baptist Church with the Revs. Dan
Bonnette and Alan Jackson officiating. Burial was at Union Cemetery under
the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
Mr. Bonnette died Tuesday, July 1, at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake
Village.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a farmer and member of
Montrose Baptist Church and the VFW.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Bonnette; three sons, James
Bonnette of Benton, Roger Bonnette of Leland, Miss. and Phillip Bonnette of
Lake Village; three daughters, Peggy Mathes of Panama City, Fla., Carolyn
Fioranelli of Greenville, Miss. and Theresa Barnett of Crossett; two
sisters Vera Jackson of Crossett and Lera Lea Lynn of Montrose; 12
grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Bonnette.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Elmore, Earl Burns and Wash White.
