Ethel is the daughter of William Christopher Ferrell and Mary McKissick Ferrell.


Ethel Clary services to be held today (Thurs)

Mrs. Ethel Clary passed away, Monday, April 16, of an apparent heart attack. She was born June 22, 1896 in Colorado. She moved with her parents to Boise, Idaho when she was 2 1/2 years old. The family moved to Shoshone in 1903, then to Rupert in 1904. In 1911 they moved to Star, Idaho, and in 1912 they moved to Owyhee, Oregon. She moved to Roswell with her family in 1916 and was married to Earl C. Clary on April 21, 1918, at Caldwell. The couple had since resided at Roswell.

Surviving Mrs. Clary are her husband, Earl C. Clary of Roswell; four sons, Dale of Parma, Warren of Blackfoot, Kenneth of Caldwell, and Leonard of Wolfcreek, Oregon; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby English of Ontario; Mrs. Elaine Watson, Peck, Idaho; and Martha Clary at the College of Idaho in Caldwell. She also leaves a brother, Henry Terrell (sb Ferrell), Grants Pass, Oregon; four sisters, Mrs. Edna Cone, Parma; Mrs. Edith Pappas, Weiser; Mrs. Esther Cleveland, Grants Pass, Oregon; and Mrs. Elsie Arens of San Jose, California; and nine grandchildren. Her parents, one brother, and three grandchildren preceded her in death.

Services will be held at Sterry Memorial Presbyterian church in Roswell Thursday afternoon, April 19 at 2 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Robert C. Shupe and Reverend Richard Mastbrook will officiate. Interment will be at Parma under the direction of Peckham-Dakan-Davis.
