CLYDE — Billie Ruth Garner Baker, 63 of Clyde, died Friday at her home.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday at the Clyde Cemetery with Mark Burgess officiating under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. Mrs. Baker was born July 21, 1942 in Abilene, Texas to O.C. and Eunice (Baker) Garner.
She married Bill Wayne Baker September 16, 1957 in San Angelo, Texas. They came to Clyde in the late 1970's. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Bill; five sons, Ozell, Rocky and wife Karen, Billy Wayne and wife Sherry Thomas and Bobby Baker, all of Clyde; 1 daughter, Diane Ramos and husband Sammy, also of Clyde; one brother, O.C. Garner Jr. of Clyde; four sisters, Helen Parsons of Abilene, Ellie Burnett and Kay Garner, both of Clyde and Shirley Rhyms of Lampasas; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Daniel Shane Baker and two sisters, Thelma Jean Harvey and Mary Elizabeth Garner.
Visitation will be from 5 — 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home
