RUSSELL ALLEN
Services for Charles Russell Allen, 82 of Laclede, will be held Saturday at the Laclede United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Laclede Cemetery. The body is at the Wright Funeral Home in Laclede.
Mr. Allen died Tuesday at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield.
He was born Oct. 6, 1909 in Marceline, son of Charles S. and Iva R. (Campbell) Allen. He and Iola Brown were married Dec. 24, 1930.
Surviving are his wife of McLarney Manor in Brookfield; a daughter, Janet Wilson of Eugene, Oregon; two grandchildren, Michelle Richardson of Reno, Nevada, and Darren Richardson of Klamath Falls, Oregon; a sister, Oveta Singleton of Marceline; a step-sister, Georgia Lark of Laclede; two sister-in-laws, Margie Brown of Rothville, and Evelyn Brown of Marceline; two nieces and two nephews.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Laclede United Methodist Church in Laclede.
