Lizzie's full name was Mary Elizabeth Davidson Wardlaw. Lizzie was daughter of William B Davidson and Mary Priscilla (East) Wardlaw.

Mary Elizabeth Davidson married John Banks Wardlaw, Jr 31 Dec 1879 at Christiansburg, Montgomery County, Virginia.

There is no evidence that Lizzie Wardlaw's mother, Mary Priscilla (East) Davidson was ever married to a Wardlaw. Her last name "Wardlaw" should be corrected to read Davidson.
